Sound Modeling with MAPP 3D Software

The MAPP 3D predictions below represent a proscenium theatre configuration of the audience seating. The goal of this sound system was to establish a central vocal system for wireless microphone reinforcement, a left and right (L/R) system for music, an upstage system for ambient sounds and sound effects, and a surround and overhead system in the house for additional sound effects and vocal reverb. Each component needed to ensure optimal coverage of the audience area. In these predictions, we look for minimal change in frequency color across the seating area, with red and orange indicating the ideal decibel coverage.
