The Sweetheart Deal

Sound Modeling with MAPP XT Software

The MAPP XT predictions below are for a three-quarter thrust configuration of the audience seating. The vertical lines in several images indicate added aisleways, with seating then removed from those areas. The goal of this sound system was to ensure optimal coverage from each loudspeaker position. Since I was using Spacemap Go spatialization software to move sounds as needed, coverage of the audience areas from each loudspeaker system was essential. In these predictions, we look for minimal change in frequency color across the seating area, with red and orange indicating the ideal decibel coverage.
